It was chute number 2
as pulled my riggin down tight.
The chute boss hollard to get ready to ride,
so I climbed down on that untamed beast
to get that 8 seconds at least.
As I push my glove through the riggin I'm feel that feelin
of an 8 seconds in the dealin'.
I know I got to ride to win the money
so I just Cowboy Up and hollar "Let's go boys"
to get that 8 seconds out of my feelins,
after I ride I just want more
so i guess theres no cure
for that 8 seconds of dealin.

FRIENDSHIP

One thing some people don't understand
Is the bond between a horse and man.
This bond can be really strong
And can last for a time so very long.
This bond is understood by some
Like horsemen and horsewomen and people like them.
Sometimes a horse knows what his owner wants.
He understands through his smiles and grunts.
Some owners understand their horse's wishes
Through his neighs and nickers and tail swishes.
Sometimes a horse and man just know what each would say
If they both shared the same talking way.
But even with the obsticle of speech.
A horse and man can still reach.
Man can try real hard to befriend his horse
Be it with love, kindness, or with cruelity and force.
But only the former two ways would have a chance
To make a friendship with romance.
The latter two might bring the horse to submission
But he would be scared of the man, terrified of him.
Befriending a horse takes very much patience
But if you do you can work with elegance.
